How To Use NetPiano™ Player
1. Open “My
Computer,”
navigate to “NetPianoSongs.”
Double click on the first song.

2. The NetPiano™ Player will open and
start playing the song. It may take a minute or so for the song to load. Notice
in the top of the window is a progress bar that you may click and drag to move
back and forth in the song.
In the right half of the window is a moving bar graph that shows
the signal being sent to your piano. At the far end of the window is a bar
graph that shows the setting of your volume control that should be all the way
up.

3. To adjust your volume control right-click on the speaker icon
in the lower right-hand corner of your screen. Click on “Open Volume Controls” and set the two left-hand volume
sliders for “Play Control” and “Wave”
all the way up. Make sure the “Balance”
sliders are in the middle. Note that these controls do not change how loudly
your piano plays. Your piano’s volume is controlled on your Pianomation™
as usual. The accompaniment volume is controlled by the speaker or amplifier
that plays those.

4. The player controls are similar to those on a CD player.

5. You may also move your mouse over a control to see the
“tool tip” hint. Look at the button highlighted below. The button highlights and
displays the “Open File” tool-tip
when the mouse hovers over it. This is the “Open File” button.

6. Clicking the “Open
File” button opens a box that allows you to select a song to play. Navigate
to your NetPianoSongs
folder and double-click the last song.

7. On the NetPiano™ player click the
“PL” button to open the playlist. Note that it lists the song you just selected.

8. The button labeled “MW”
opens the Media Window. This window will be used in the future for songs that
have accompanying video or lyrics.

9. “VIZ” opens the
Visualizations window that displays a computer graphics show synchronized to
your piano.

10. There are many visualizations available. To change the one
displayed, right click over the visualizations window to open the menu. In the
middle of the menu click on “Visualizations”
where you may select from several patterns.

11.
“REP” makes the songs
in the playlist repeat in the order in which they are
listed.

12. “SHF” shuffles the
order in which the songs in the playlist are played.
Used with “REP” you can enjoy hours
or songs that repeat in random order.
