Song Search Tutorial
1. Open Internet Explorer and go to NetPiano.com. Click on Get
Music and
then Song Search.

2. Enter a keyword or words into the Track Search
box and click on the Search button. In this example the word
“know” was entered.

3. Note that the top 10 results are returned. To see more
results you may click on the selection box arrow to choose All Results and
click on the Search button again to
see more results. Try experimenting with different words or phrases to see what
results are returned.

4. In the next example, the word “close” was entered. Note that
two columns appear. The left column is the title of the particular
song that matched your search cr iteria, the right column lists the
album that the song is from.
Clicking on the >> to the left of the Album column takes you to the
detail page for that album.

5. Notice that Close to You is listed as the tenth song on the
album. If we wanted to download that song we would click on the
folder icon to the left of the song. Clicking on the >> to the left
of Close to You will return the details of that song.

6. Some songs have more information than others. Notice
that the familiar icon of the folder and notes appears on the detail
page, permitting you to download the song from this page.

7. Clicking the folder and notes icon starts the file download
process. Always click Save so you will have the song on-hand to play.

8. Here we show saving the song to the NetPianoSongs
folder. If desired, we could have created a sub-folder under
NetPianoSongs named “BachrachSongs” and saved it to organize our
collection.
Note how the file names are constructed. The first set of
numbers is the album number, the two digits that
follow are the track number followed by the name of the song.

9. Using your browsers Back button or re-entering the search for
“close” notice that on the bottom of
the page we have another entry for Close to You.
In the left column note the “more info” arrows (>>) just
before the song title. Clicking on this takes us directly to the details of
that song.

10. Note that this version of the song is a medley and “Close to
You” is the first song and that it is played by
Liberace.

11. You may also browse the library by album name. Click on Get Music in the menu bar and then Album List. Scr
olling down the page
will display more songs. Note to the left of the album title are the familiar
>> two arrows. Clicking the arrows on the first entry will return the
details from the album “A Beautiful Friendship.”

12. This is the familiar album detail page. Clicking on the
>> on the left will return details of that song, clicking on the file
folder with the notes will download the song.
